Its mission supports and promotes safety and health through educational programs, curriculum and research.  Membership and involvement provide professional, academic and personal networking opportunities.

Campus EHS Professionals Group

The College & University Initiative: Campus EHS Professionals Group focuses on the unique safety concerns that affect professionals with environmental health and safety responsibilities in the higher education arena.  This group collaborates with campus professionals from institutions across the nation and internationally to address and answer the challenges facing colleges and universities today.

NSC College & University Initiative: Education & Research Update Meeting and Awards Presentation Highlights

The Awards Presentation was lead by our Education & Research Advisor, Dr. Gregory Petty, Professor, Health & Safety Programs, University of Tennessee-Knoxville.  This event honored NSC Research Poster Award program winners, sponsored by the Campbell Institute, which recognizes outstanding research papers and our NSC Student Ambassador program winners, funded by the Eleanor Freeman Fund, for graduate and undergraduate college & university students to attend the Annual Congress & Expo. This great networking opportunity gave everyone the ability to meet with other Safety & Health college/university educators and their students!
